Spring Family Photos Style Guide
With Easter around the corner, it's the perfect time to start thinking about new family photos! Use the opportunity to coordinate colors with your new Sunday best. Check out our style guide for color and outfit inspo for what we’d wear for spring family photos.
Color Palette 1: Cool Spring Hues
Take inspiration from cool trending hues like mint, sage, lilac, and purple. A solid color dress like Promise In My Heart Purple, Set Yourself Free Lavender Maxi, or Next Chapter Mint Braided Detail Midi Dress are great options to mix in with different spring prints. Bring in some fun florals with a top like Arising Opportunity Sage Floral Blouse. Bring in a neutral hue such as white to break up the colors with styles such as New Beginnings Ivory Midi Dress or the Mindless Dreaming Ivory Eyelet Dress.
Color Palette 2: Warm Spring Hues
Warmer colors such as coral, peach, and blush are another option and work great for family beach photos too! Sweet Magnolias Wrap Peach Dress, Bayside Stroll Terracotta Shorts, and It All Begins With Love Pink Maxi are solid options. To add a fun print, take a look at Water Lily Magic Floral Dress, Grand Salutations Peach Daisy Bodysuit, or the Oceans of Love Coral Maxi Dress. Neutral tones like beige and taupe will be your go-to with this color palette to break up the amount of color and prints and make it easier to coordinate outfits with each family member. Customer faves like the Hold You Dear Taupe Dress or the Wonderstruck Love Taupe Midi would be perfect fits.
Color Palette 3: Favorite Spring Pastels
Some of the season’s favorite pastel hues combined make the perfect photo op! Light blue, blush, and pale yellow are the focus of this color palette. Incorporate a spring floral featuring this hues with dresses such as Stylish and Chic Blue and Garden Picnics. Mix up your usual outfit by styling with the Valley Duster Pink Kimono. Exotic Escape Taupe Animal Print Maxi or the Loving Endeavor Taupe Midi will break up the amount of color and still blend with the pastel hues.
